Kahu went up 56 floors in a lift which only took 38 seconds. It is the fastest lift in Europe. You can see good views of a Paris just like the Eiffel tower. After the lift, which takes you to the viewing room. You walk up three flights of stairs to the roof viewing area. The building is called the Montparnasse Tower. Google to find more about this tower.

ReplyDeleteHi Andre. We didn't think elevators could travel that fast. It didn't feel as if we were going fast but the numbers showing what floor we were passing were changing very quickly.

Hi Room 1. Thank you for all your questions. I think it is about 300 m high. We had an amazing view all over Paris and could find many of the places we had visited. The lift did not feel like it was going fast but we could see the numbers to show what floor we were on changing very quickly. Kahu has seen a lot of Normandy which is near Paris over the last few days. He has been travelling by cruise boat on the Seine river.
